Day 3-4 Survivor of Snapdragons

Image
On Day 3 of Survivor of the Snapdragons, I was pleased. πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ My plant is standing strong.  I moved the plants to an area that provided enough sun during the day and partial shade as needed. I am still in the process of replanting the snapdragons to a larger pot. When i do, it will be their 3rd home. I have a photo of when their journey first began in my greenhouse. I started them from seeds the weekend of Good Friday. This photo was on April 27, 2025. One week after this photo I replanted my plants to the container they are in now. I noticed my first blooms on June 16. Which it may have been a little sooner because I was not visiting them everyday during the beginning stages.  I concentrate on them a lot now due to the high heat in our area.   We planted five plants in the ground hoping they will have a better chance of being a survivor. They  were planted around June 20. Not sure if they will make it. They are in direct sun light, only shade is in lat...

Day 2 Survivor of My Snapdragon

Image
So she has perked up, still leaning to the side.  Soon I will replant her to a new pot. On the bright side, I am sharing a beautiful flower from my other snapdragon.  I planted my snapdragons the weekend of Good Friday this year. It has been extremely hot in my area causing the plants to wither and  slow the blooms.  They do not like hot weather, but I will continue to help them survive.

Help!! Save My Plant

Image
Hi Everyone, so this is my plant, snapdragon.  And it has been drained by the sun direct approach to my greenhouse. I am sad. I thought I was doing everything right to keep it flourish.  My question is did I fail? Can I save my plant? Any suggestion? I will mark this as Day 1 Survivor of the Snapdragon. Come back tomorrow to see how she is doing.

Sundress Crochet Doll Dress

Image
Wavy Sundress for an 18-Inch Doll By Yarnsensation Crochet Dolls Hello everyone! My latest design is a doll dress, one of my many designs. I had so much fun crocheting this little dress. Before I go any further, to place the dress on to your doll, slide her feet into the top opening and pull it on to her. I like making it easy to wear, because I prefer to make my dresses for all ages.  So, I had a design pop in my mind, I basically wrote out the idea first, then I drew a sketch of what I wanted the dress to look like.  I first made the starting chain and kept adjusting it around the doll waist until the fit was perfect. This dress is design to fit loose around the doll.  It is so loose that a shirt can be worn with it for a winter look. I crochet my designs with ease in mind. I do not like complicated designs that require google search on how to complete it.  My process is writing the pattern as I design the dress. Crazy, right!!πŸ’•After this step I have comple...
